London Book Fair 2019

I spent a pleasant morning at the London Book Fair this week, the first time I have ever visited it. An interesting experience - obviously there are a lot of books and a lot of publishers in Kensington Olympia and it's not really an event for authors (although there are useful talks). I chatted to some of the publishers of my books, including the fine folk at Haynes who were able to let me look at the first copies of the Shed Manual which apparently had been specially flown in for the fair (unless they were just flattering me!) and The British Library. I'd be interested to hear from any other authors who have been about their experiences.
