Shelf Life is The Idler magazine's book of the week

I'm delighted to report that Shelf Life is The Idler magazine's Book of the Week. Click the link for an excerpt from the one of the essays, by President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, from his A Book Lover’s Holidays in the Open (1916) which features a number of pearls including "Tolstoy is an interesting and stimulating writer, but an exceedingly unsafe moral adviser" and the great man's advice on what books he advises men or women to take on holidays in the open.
