My most popular library books

The new PLR figures for the 12 months from July 2024 to June 2025 listing how many people took out my books from libraries over that year show that Shed Manual (published by Haynes) is in first place, with How To Give Your Child A Lifelong Love of Reading a smidgeon behind, and then Rooms of Their Own. Here's the full list:

  1. Shed Manual
  2. How To Give Your Child A Lifelong Love of Reading
  3. Rooms of Their Own
  4. A Book of Book Lists
  5. 100 Words for Rain
  6. Shelf Life
  7. Studios of Their Own
  8. Book Towns
  9. Menus That Made History
  10. Edward Lear and the Pussycat: Famous Writers and Their Pets
  11. Improbable Libraries
  12. The Book of Book Jokes
  13. The Book Lover's Almanac
  14. Shedworking: The Alternative Workplace Revolution
  15. Bookshelf
  16. While There is Tea, There is Hope
  17. Art Day by Day: 366 Brushes with History

The list excludes my most recent books When Books Go Bad and My Year of Reading Welshly which will appear in next year's figures, as well as my A Soundtrack for Life for copyright reasons that are slightly annoying yet too dull to bother you with.
